Privacy policy

The short version

• There are no accounts, sign-ups, comments or mailing lists. anzid.gg never asks for your name or email, never asks you to sign in with Google or YouTube, and never accesses your Google or YouTube account.
• anzid.gg runs no analytics, tracking or ads of its own.
• anzid.gg doesn't sell anyone's information. The only companies that receive information because you visit are YouTube/Google (the video player and thumbnails) and Cloudflare (hosting), as described below.
• If you email anzidmtg@gmail.com, AnziD receives your address and message (through Gmail) and uses them only to reply.

YouTube

anzid.gg uses YouTube API Services:

• videos and live streams play in YouTube's embedded player;
• video pages load YouTube's IFrame Player API script from youtube.com, so chapter links can move the video and the "cards in play" panel can follow it;
• the list of videos is built from the YouTube Data API when the site is built, using only the channel's public video details. No information about visitors is sent to or read from the API.

When a page with a video loads, YouTube's player connects to YouTube and Google. They receive your IP address, details of your browser and device, and the address of the page, and may set cookies or similar storage on your device. More is shared when you press play. YouTube may show ads in its player. Video thumbnails load from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), which also receives your IP address and browser details.

How YouTube and Google use this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. You can review and delete activity tied to your Google account at myactivity.google.com.

Settings saved in your browser

anzid.gg remembers a few choices in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device; anzid.gg never receives them.

• anzid-doctor-bar-closed: the time you closed the Membership / Deck Doctor banner, so it stays hidden for 14 days.
• anzid-decks-view: whether the Decks page shows a list or tiles.
• anzid-deck-view and anzid-deck-view-plain: the decklist view you picked on video pages.

To remove them, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.

Hosting

anzid.gg is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the details of each request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots, and shows AnziD overall traffic numbers that don't identify anyone. The site's fonts and card images are served from anzid.gg itself.

Other sites

Links to TCGplayer, Piltover Archive, YouTube, X and other sites take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Links to TCGplayer carry no affiliate or tracking codes.

Children

anzid.gg isn't aimed at children. None of the videos on it are made for kids, and the site leaves out any video YouTube marks as made for kids.

Your choices

You can ask what information AnziD holds about you (normally none, apart from any email you've sent) and ask for it to be deleted, by emailing anzidmtg@gmail.com. Using anzid.gg means you accept this policy and the terms of use.

Changes

If anything here changes, for example if live chat or ads are added, this page is updated first, with a new date at the top.
